Last week, Steer had the privilege of being hosted at the Economics and Finance Course Union's orientation table, and the experience was nothing short of incredible. Together, we handed out free cookies and other goodies, and even more importantly, we created meaningful connections.
The energy was contagious. We met dozens of passionate members of the Economics and Finance Course Union and hundreds of first-year students eager to dive into their new journey. Many of them stopped by not just for a cookie, but to hear about Steer and what we're building. The response was overwhelming: hundreds of first-year students signed up for our app on the spot, and early feedback has been nothing but encouraging.
We are thrilled by the momentum this event has given us. Orientation was only the beginning, we look forward to working with the Economics and Finance Course Union for many more events throughout the year. If this first experience showed us anything, it's that when you bring students together around community, ambition, and a little sweetness, good things happen.
